Dr. Kamalain K. Sha’ath, IUG President, received a French delegation from the French Consulate at Jerusalem, headed by Benoit Tadie, Consultant of Cooperation and Culture at the consulate.
Dr. Rifaat Rustom, Vice IUG President for IT & External Affairs, Dr. Shafiq Jondia, Faculty of Engineering Dean, Dr. Jihad Hamad, Supervisor of recycling the ruins of damaged buildings project in the Gaza Strip (which was prepared by students at the Civil Engineering Department and funded by French people), Mathilde Girardot, Assistant of University Cooperation Department, Chantal Juge, attached of French Language Cooperation, attended the meeting at the IUG president office.
Dr. Sha’ath welcomed the visit of the delegation and briefed them of the IUG history, services and scientific research encourage in addition to the community service through the Continuing Education and Community Service Deanship.
Mr. Husam Ayesh, Vice Director of Public Relations Office showed the delegation about the university damaged buildings after the recent war on the Gaza Strip as well as showing the project of recycling the ruins of damaged buildings project in the Gaza Strip.
