The scientific committee of Architecture Department, at the Engineering Faculty, organized a seminar about the possibility of applying security factors in buildings.
Dr. Fareed Al- qiq, Vice Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr. Nader Al- Namra, chief of Architecture Department, Dr. Mohammed Al- Kahlout, chief of the scientific committee of architecture department, engineer Amjad Skaik, master of the meeting, a number of staff members and students attended the meeting.
Dr. Namra said that security factors helps in reducing the losses and damages. He shows equipments for warning and fire-fighting.
In addition, students of the fourth level visited the treatment places in Gaza. This visit is connected to a design course that is learned by those students.
Mr. Ahmed Al- Astal, coordinator of scientific visits at IUG, engineer Aaed Al- Masri, and engineer Husam Dauoud, course instructors, Mr. Hasan Al- Sabah, supportive of the project, and staff members at architecture department accompanied the students. They visited Our Deaf Children Association, Al- Rahme Orphanage and Al- Mathaf restaurant. Engineer Al- Astal declared that the visit aims at showing the students the roles of the archetict in desiging the treatment buildings and clarifying the environmental relations and their effects on the architectural designing.
