A delegation from Egyptian universities Professors and consultants Visited Islamic University of Gaza on Sunday 09 August 2009. The delegation aims at training Palestinian doctors in hospitals.
Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG President, Dr. Mufeed AlMokhalalati, Medicine Faculty Dean, Dr. Omar Farwana, Dr. Saed Alghora, Medicine Faculty staff members, Mr. Husam Ayesh, Vice director of Public Relations Office received the delegation.
The delegation included Dr. Ehab Omran, professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Mohamed Fadl, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Minia, and Dr. Naser Abu Shaban.
Dr. Fadl appreciated the efforts of IUG staff to develop the Palestinian academic education and to encourage academic and scientific research to participate effectively locally and internationally.
Dr. Shaath, IUG President, welcomed the delegation for their visit to the university. He briefed the delegation about the medical programs the university have at the Faculty of Medicine and the renewable academic programs the university offer.
