A celebration organized in European Gaza Hospital at the time of starting the Clinical Stage to the IUG fourth level students in the Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Mufeed Al-Mukhalalati, Faculty of Medicine Dean, Dr. Abedullatif Al-Haj, European Gaza Hospital Director, and a group of faculty and hospital staff as well as students from the fourth level, attended the celebration.
Dr. Al-Mukhalalati talked about nine years of experience with European Hospital in the field of medical education which has created the hospital to be the university hospital in the Gaza Strip adding that the clinical stage is part of a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Health to contribute in encouraging medical research within the hospital.
“Despite the imposed siege and the lack of materials, the Faculty of Medicine did not stop the process of progress and development” Dr. Al-Mukhalalati added.
Meanwhile, Dr. Al-Haj talked about the role of European Gaza Hospital, which is the first hospital to embrace medical education in the Gaza Strip adding that the hospital, associated with the medical service, is keen to activate scientific research with experience to create a new era of medical education hopping that the hospital will be the first teaching hospital in the Gaza Strip.
