Islamic University of Gaza celebrated the graduation of a new class, of its 28th graduation ceremony, from the Faculty of Arts. The Faculty of Arts was established since the establishment of the University.
The Faculty awards the degrees of B.A. & M.A. as follows: The college awards a B.A. in Arabic Language, English Language, Geography, journalism & Information, Journalism & Public relations, History & Archeology, Social Service and journalism & Information / Arabic Language after studying (140) credit hours.
The ceremony was attended by Jamal Alkhodari, Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr Kamalain Shaath, IUG President, university officials, other academic leaders, politicians and community leaders.
MP. Jamal Al-Khodari, Board of Trustees chairman, thanked Arts Faculty staff for their participation in the services that are offered to the society referring that the university is keen to offer the best for its students.
MP Al-Khodari provokes graduates to continue their way of progress to raise the cultural level of Palestinian society and that will surely reflects a better image for the university performance.
Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, also thanked the people and the institutions that offered services and support to the IUG.
“We have learned that our journey to improvement often echoes the wider challenges hopping that we can offer the best for our students to complete their study” Said Dr. Sha’ath
Dr. Sha’ath talked about the role of the Faculty of Arts to establish the best Islamic values, general culture and good morals in addition to have the best creativity and future planning to cope with international development.
“We believe this engagement empowers us to offer a better arts education that is specialised and deeply committed to the best research, but also actively and critically engaged in the challenges faced by our societies.” Dr. Sha’ath added
