A delegation of American and British students from Hope Fleet “2” to Gaza, visited Islamic University of Gaza today.
Dr. Refaat Rustom, Vice IUG President for IT and External Relations,Dr. Ra’ed Salha, Director of Public Relations Office, Dr. Nazmi Al-Masri, English Language Professor at IUG, received the delegation.
Dr. Rustom briefed the delegation about IUG history over the 30 years of establishment and its service for the local society and more than 20,000 students.
Dr. Rustom talked about the latest Israeli attack on the university that resulting the damage of two main buildings in the university and the lack of material to rebuild those Engineering and Science Buildings.
The people in the delegation appreciated the efforts of IUG among the challenges and bad circumstances in Gaza hopping to establish good relations with the university in the future.
