On Wednesday June 10, 2009, Dr Mohamed Bin Ghanem Al Ali Al Ma’adid, Secretary General of Qatar Red Crescent, accompanied with Mr. Mohammed Abu Haloub, Director of Qatar Red Crescent in Gaza, visited Islamic University of Gaza.
At the IUG main campus, Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG President, Dr. Rifat Rustom, Vice President for IT & External Relations, and Dr. Mufeed Al-Mokhallalati, Faculty of Medicine Dean, received the secretary general of Qatar Red Crescent; and took him a tour around the university showing him its facilities and the damaged of scientific labs after the latest war on Gaza Strip.
Dr. Al Ma’adid expressed his admiration of the good level of the Medicine Faculty despite the bad circumstances of the Palestinian society as well as university exploitation of new technology during its academic and research life.
