A delegation from the Arab Committee for Human Rights visited the Islamic University of Gaza yesterday headed by Dr. Hiatham Manna’, spokesman of Arab Committee for Human Rights-France.
Mr. Jamal Al-Khodari, IUG Board of Trustees Chairman, representative of Legislative Council, Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG President, Dr. Rifaat Rustom, vice president for IT & External Relations, Dr. Ra’ed Salha, director of Public Relations Office, Mr. Husam Ayesh, vice director of PRO, received the delegation.
Mr. Al-khodari thanked the delegation for their first visit the Islamic University and expressed his high appreciation to the efforts done by the human rights institutions talking about the university progress after 30 years of its establishment.
Dr. Sha’ath briefed the delegation about the university and its offers to students and community as well referring the latest attack that result the destruction of two buildings in the university.
Dr. Manna’ talked about the committee role of documenting the different violations for human rights especially the right of education.
