Computer Engineering Department in the Engineering Faculty, at IUG, organized a symposium about labour market opportunities and the necessary courses for the department of computer students. The symposium was held in the conferences Hall of “Tiba” Building. Dr. DR. Aiman A. Abu Samra, Computer Engineering department director, and a group of faculty staff and students attended the symposium.
Dr. Abu Samra talked about the importance of having knowledge about labour market and its necessities such as courses and experience in such field.
Mr. Basim Rajab talked about the challenges which face students after graduation and encounter labour market and how to overcome them.
Mr. Basim suggested some basic steps that could be taken to face labour market such as creativity, using different resources and developing them during work, and finding alternatives during the job.
