On March 21, 2009, IUG honored a group of students who got exceptional academic records. Each year approximately 800 undergraduates are invited into this honor celebration for students who achieved excellent degrees at the end of their courses.
The Students Council Union organized the celebration with the support of IHH institution in the conferences hall at the heart of the university campus.
Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG president, with a group of IUG staff, parents and students’ relatives attended the celebration.
Dr. Sha’ath described the celebration of the best push for hope and self-confidence confirming on the essential need to such pushes in light of the bad circumstances that faced the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
