A delegation of British doctors of PimaPalestine visited IUG to open channels of help and support after the attack on the science and engineering buildings in December 28, 2008.
Dr. Kamalain Sha’ath, IUG president, Dr. Mufeed Al-Mukhalati, Medicine Faculty Dean, Dr. Samir Safi, Community & Continuing Education Dean, received Dr. Hiatham Hamdan, delegation chief, and the members of the delegation.
Dr. Sha’ath thanked the delegation for their efforts to help the Palestinian community especially the university students and briefed them about the university and its offers to students and community as well.
“We will do our best to have the good offer for the Islamic University of Gaza… It’s really great university… I’m really impressed of your work.” Dr. Hamdan said
