Business Research & Development Unit (BRDU), at Commerce Faculty, at IUG, organized a symposium entitled “The International Financial Crisis and its effects on the area”.
Dr. Alaa’ Al-Rafati, Mr. Khalid Al-Bohisi, Dr. Seif El-Dein Auda, and group of staff members and students from Political Sciences and Economics Department, attended the meeting.
Dr. Al-Rafati explained the real causes of the international financial crisis, including: relying on the capitalist system; speculation; and wasting money in complimentary needs to the rich people.
Dr. Auda suggested some standards that may control the deposits processes in local banks, which include the approval Palestinian Monetary Authority to allocate investment for any bank and to confine the average of concentrations to every country or financial institution according to their international credit share.
