IUG Organizes A Scientific Conference entitled ( Palestinian Refugees: Rooted Rights, Unknown Destiny)


Islamic University of Gaza-southern branch started the activities of the Scientific Conference entitled ( Palestinian Refugees: Rooted Rights, Unknown Destiny).


Mr. Muhammed Shamaa, vice Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, Dr. Muhammed Asqool, vice president for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Waleed Al-Mudallal, IUG Southern Branch Dean, Dr. Salman Abu Sitta, Palestinian Land Institution chief, who participated on the Video conference, a group of faculty members, researchers, experts, and interested people, have attended the first session of the Study Day.

Mr. Shamaa expressed his high proud of such activity which came at the 60th anniversary of the Palestinian Catastrophe (Nakba). He confirms that the Palestinian land is still a holy and Islamic land adding that no one has the right to give up of this historical land.

Dr. Shaath confirmed that the Right of Return touches the identity of the Palestinian people adding that this successful conference came at the Occupation Siege environment. He assured that the IUG is concerned to build a rooted strong community.

Dr. Al-Mudallal declared that after sixty years of the Nakba, the Palestinians will remember the true story of the Palestinian people culture. He noted that there should be a generation who is truly concerned of his right of return.

Dr. Abu Sitta thanked the IUG for its efforts to support the Palestinian status, right of return and reminding of their destiny adding that the continuous tries to immigrate Palestinians did not have any effect on the Palestinian steadfastness.
