Commerce Faculty, at IUG, Organizes a Study Day about the International Financial Crisis and its Effects on the Palestinian Finance.

In cooperation with Ministry of Finance, Business Research & Development Unit (BRDU), at Commerce Faculty, at IUG, organized a Study Day about the International Financial Crisis and its effects on the Palestinian Finance.

Mr. Ziyad Al-Thatha, vice Prime Minister and National Finance Minster, Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG President, Dr. Salem Helles vice IUG president for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Rushdi Wadi, Commerce Faculty Dean, faculty members , directors of society institutions and university students attended the study day.

Mr. Al-Thatha talked about three major points, including: practical papers to treat the side effects that have affected individuals and some institutions as well by the international financial crisis; suggestions to solve the problem and a paper to the world showing Islamic views in such problems.

Dr. Shaath confirmed on the role of out-of-class activities to discuss and analyze the atmosphere of international and regional crisis adding that there should be a support from local institutions and ministries to students who present such solutions to any expected problem.

Dr. Wadi added that the international financial crisis is getting bigger as a result to the American lies and legends, including: financial transparency legend; strong stomach legend; and other ideologies which were a cause for the international financial crisis.
