Engineering Faculty Signs a Cooperation Agreement with Ministry of Culture

Engineering Faculty, at IUG, signed a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Culture to design a National Museum. Dr. Adnan Enshasi, Engineering Faculty Dean, and Dr. Osama El-Esawi, Minister of Culture, signed the agreement.

Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, Dr. Fareed Al-Qiq, Architectural Department Head, and a number of faculty staff attended the signature of the agreement.

According to the agreement, Ministry of Culture wishes to establish a national museum aiming at dedicating the history of the area. The Museum will take care of objects that preserve the memories and experiences of the Palestinian people and will provide the public with a strong sense of the Palestinian identity through exhibitions and programs that look at the major themes of our national experience.

Students of Architectural Department in the Engineering Faculty, at IUG, will prepare a complete project to design the museum, including place and atmosphere.
