The Carter Institute for Peace visited IUG on July 10, 2008. Mr. Naji Al-Khodari, IUG Board of Trustees Chairman, Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, and a group of IUG administrators and deans received the Carter delegation.
Mr. Al-Khodari welcomed the visit of the delegation and briefed them of the bad effects, especially on the higher education, in the Gaza Strip after the imposed siege on the area.
Dr. Shaath talked about the IUG programs and services that are offered to the Palestinian students and the community.
