Dr. Ahmad Thabet, IUG biochemistry teacher at the Faculty of Science, was included on the list of 34 Arabic creative scientists who is published on Arabian Creativity official website.
Thabet has got a PhD in biochemistry in 1974 from Warsaw University Poland. He wrote five books in biochemistry including, AIDS and immune system in the body in 2006, Fundamental Biochemistry- part two 2000 and Fundamental Chemistry part one-1991, addition to publishing 18 scientific research papers.
Professor Thabet has been awarded “Yosef Ben Ahmed Kano award” in 2006 in medicine and natural sciences after publishing his book “Hormone Insulin, Diabetes and Nutrition”.
