Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, received a French delegation, who participated in the Architectural Heritage Conference Activities “, which is titled “the Reality and Challenges for Preservation”. The delegation included, Dr. Michel Brodovitch, an expert in preserving the historical monuments and areas – Ministry of Equipment – France, Mr. Sebastien Fagart, responsible for Education in French Consolidate, Mr. Gaëton Pellan, Director of French Cultural Center in Gaza. A group of IUG administrators and faculty members attended the meeting.
“We are highly lucky that we have faculty members who came from different universities around the world.” Dr. Shaath Said.
Dr. Fagart expressed his high gratitude after visiting the Islamic University of Gaza welcoming the cooperative relations. He considers the French Cultural Center of the very crucial step in the Gaza Strip hoping that the centre can help all the friends in the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Shaath, delivered A Gratitude and Honorable certificate for Dr. Fagart for his participation with the delegation in the “the Reality and Challenges for Preservation” conference.
