Dr. Kamalain Shaath, IUG president, received Dr. Burns Cox, British doctor specialized in diabetes and endocrine gland.
Dr. Rifaat Rustom Vice President for IT and External Relations, Dr. Mufeed Al-Mokhalaty, Faculty of Medicine Dean, Dr. Khamis Al-Isy, Associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at IUG, and Mr. Husam Ayesh, Vice Director for Public Relations Office, attended the meeting.
Dr. Shaath demonstrated the alert plan, that have been suggested by IUG administration, to overcome the lack of fuel crisis, which affected the whole life in Gaza specially education.
Dr. Mufeed gave a brief about the available scientific labs at the Faculty of Medicine explaining that those labs are serving needs of the different courses at the faculty.
Dr. Cox held a lecture at the university confirming a new technique is not very important if we compare it of the true information. ” we should increase the trust of doctors by enhancing the knowledge among the public” said Dr. Cox.
Dr. Cox considers Diabetes and Hypertension diseases as the most widespread in the world. ” Diabetes is a very cruel disease” said Dr. Cox
Dr. Al-Mokhalalaty thanked Dr. Cox for his lecture among the IUG students confirming that Dr. Cox came here to “tell us that we are not alone in Gaza”
