Architectural Department, at IUG, Organizes a Symposium about the Future of Labor Market

Architectural Department in the Faculty of Engineering, at IUG, organized a scientific symposium about the future of labor market to the architect. Dr. Adnan Enshasi, Engineering Faculty Dean, Dr. Esam El-Masri, Architecture Department director, Dr. Nabil El-Sawalhi, UNRWA member, Mr. Rafiq Hasoona, director of Mushtaha & Hassoona for contracting works, attended the symposium.

Dr. El-Sawalhi talked about the practice of architect, in which technical knowledge, management skills, and an understanding of good business practice. In practice, an architect accepts a commission from a client (an individual, a board of directors, a government agency or a corporation). This commission may involve the preparation of feasibility reports, building audits, the design of a single building, or the design of several buildings, structures and the spaces between them.

Mr. Hassoona talked about architecture in the Gaza Strip and the importance of practicing electronic programs for architect.
