2nd conference for Faculty of Commerce and Scientific Research Deanery was organized from 13-15 February at IUG and was attended by specialists from different institutions.
In the opening ceremony, Mr Jamal AlKhodary, Chairman of Board of Trustees, assured unity in supporting Palestinian economy.
Dr Kamalain Shaat, IUG President, talked about the role of Egypt in supporting Palestinian economy and how should Palestinians work in achieving their goals. In his speech to the conference, the Egyptian ambassador to P.A, Mr Ashraf Aql, assured the role played by Egyptian government in supporting Palestine and the conference resembles a cornerstone in the process of development.
Dr Esam Yousif, Executive Director of Etelaf AlKhair in London, asked interested people to participate in process of development as his organization supports Palestinians. Dr Alaa Arrafaty, Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Chairman of the Conference, said that his faculty is approaching the future concentrating on developing Gaza as a first step, while the second is the west bank and the last is for all Palestine. Mr Arrafaty thanked the participants and the supporters of the conference especially Etelaf AlKhair. Dr Esam Albuhaisy, Chairman of Business Research Unit and Chairman of the organizing committee said that the conference importance stems out of the necessity to have real strategic planning treating all resources properly.
It’s worth mentioning that 47 research papers were presented to the conference in 8 sessions that lasted for 3 days and was funded by Etelaf AlKhair.
