AMIDEAST Country Director Visits IUG
Mr Steve Keller, AMIDEAST Country Director, and Anees Abu Hashem, Director of AMIDEAST Office in Gaza, visited IUG and met with Dr Kamalain Shaat, IUG President. Mr Keller toured IUG campus and looked at the buildings, labs, and the library after being attacked, stolen, and burned on 1st of February.
Dr Shaat briefed AMIDEAST delegation on procedures carried out by university staff to overcome crisis and start the semester after two weeks delay. He thanked the AMIDEAST delegation for the solidarity with IUG.
