DAAD Representative Visits IUG
Dr Kamalain Shaat, IUG President, received Dr. Helga Baumgarten
Head of DAAD IC, East Jerusalem on Monday. He welcomed Dr Baumgarten and thanked the DAAD and Germany for helping Palestinian people especially in filed of education. Many issues during the meeting were discussed such as academic exchange, research and scholarships for university staff.
On her turn Dr Baumgarten appreciated IUG graduates who got DAAD scholarships. Dr Baumgarten toured IUG campus and gave a lecture to students and graduates at IUG interested in studying in Germany and responded to their inquiries
