Dr Kamalain Shaat, IUG President, and Ms. Kirsten Blech-Olsen, Resident Representative of NPA, signed a cooperation agreement which enables 300 needy students from IUG to get scholarships from the NPA during this semester.
The agreement took place during a visit to NPA by Dr. Shaat, Dr Rifaat Rustom, Vice President of IT and External Relations at IUG, and Mr. Husam Ayesh, Public Relations Vice Director at IUG, on the presence of Mr.Yousif Nabahein, Financial Manager at NPA, and Ms. Widad Naser, Education Program Manager at NPA.
Ms. Kirsten welcomed IUG delegation and briefed them on NPA programs and history. On his turn, Dr. Shaat thanked the NPA for this initiative step in helping needy Palestinian students.
Dr Rustom briefed the attendants on IUG criteria and mechanism to choose students for the scholarship.
