Dr Hatem Alaydy, Chairman of Electric and Computer Engineering Department, participated in The Third International Arab Conference on Information Technology held in Qatar from 16-19 December. His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad al Attiya, Minister of Energy at Qatar, inaugurated the conference. In his speech, Alattiya welcomed participants and talked about the role played by IT in modern life and in developing societies especially in the last decade of 20th century. What is notable about the ACIT conference is the recognizable quality of the subjects discussed and the number of participants.
