IUG Signs a Cooperation Agreement with University of Sains in Malaysia
IUG signed an agreement with the University of Sains in Malaysia (USM) at School of Housing, Building and Planning (HBP) to initiate a Master degree in Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering
Dr. Kamaleen Shaath, IUG President, signed the agreement of cooperation with Prof. Dato Dzulkifli AbdulRazak, Vice Chancellor of USM.
Prof. Adnan Enshasi, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Prof. Mahyuddin Ramli, Dean of Housing, Building and Planning, assured initiating such cooperation that widens fields of cooperation between both parties.
Dr. Refaat Rustom, Vice President for IT and External Relations and Dr. Fareed Al-Kaeq, Chairman of Architecture attended the signature.
The HBP & IUG are interested in consolidating the cooperation between the two academic institutions in several educational fields and mainly in the unveiling of Master degree in Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering.
The Program will be run mainly by local qualified professionals from academic staff in the Department of Architecture at IUG.
HBP will provide the required academic support to ensure the smooth running of the program. Also, HBP will provide the needed technical means, the adequate references and educational licenses software.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will be lasted to two years from
2007 till the year of 2008 under the sponsorship of the Housing, Building and
Planning in Malaysia.
