Faculty of Sharea’ held its first international conference entitled “Islamic legislation and Real Needs” from 13 – 14 March, 2006 that was attended by specialists from different universities.
The conference that lasted for 2 days included 23 research papers presented in 5 sessions. Scholars from Palestine, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia participated in the conference.
Presented papers discussed different issues like: flexibility of Islamic legislation, banking and investment, family comprehensive concepts, Ozone layer protection in Islamic legislation and woman role in Islam.
