Islamic University of Gaza and American Near East Refugee Aid ANERA, and INTEL Signed an agreement of establishing the Intel IT center of excellence at IUG.
Mr Jamal AlKhodary, Chairman of Board of Trustees, welcomed the guests and appreciated the efforts exerted by NAERA and Intel as the center will help the university to fulfill its mission in IT sector.
In the Ceremony, Dr Peter Gubser, ANERA Representative, expressed his pleasure on visiting IUG which resembles the future of Palestine.
He expected for the center to be established to train 500-600 students in different skills to get jobs.
He added that the center will enable students to do their projects.
Mr Richard Hall, Representative of Intel, said that he was extremely impressed on visiting IUG and have such a project of cooperation as he expected the project will train more young men and women .
