Dr. Phyllis Starkey MP, Chair Committee on Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, visited IUG and was received by Dr Nazmi Almasri, Dean of libraries, and Husam Ayesh from the Public Relations Office.
Dr Almasri welcomed Dr Starkey and Mr. Ayesh briefed her on IUG history and faculties.
Mr Starkey toured IUG campus and had a look at INTERPAL projects at IUG. Its worth mentioning that INTERPAL supplied IUG library with electronic control system to improve services offered by the Library, furnished a building at IUG branch in Khanyounis and donated £100,000 for administration building .
