Workshop on International Humanitarian law at IUG

In cooperation with International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza, Faculty of law and Islamic law organized a workshop on the International Humanitarian law and ICRC activities.
Dr Mazen Hania, Chairman of Iftaa Committee, welcomed participants and the guests from staff and postgraduate students. Dr Hania talked about H.L as mission of Islam treats humanity on principles of equality as they are all alike despite their religion and ethnities.
Mr Eyad Nasr, ICRC Media Director in Gaza, talked about ICRC and the role played by the mission in Gaza during conflict and Geneva Conventions.
Nasr said that ICRC has 60 offices all over the world and activities in more than 80 countries carried out by 11000 employees.
In the end of the workshop a film was presented to attendants about ICRC activities.
