IUG Inaugurates New Labs for E learning Donated by Qatar Relief Allies Committee ( QRAC)

The Islamic University celebrated the inauguration of new labs for E learning funded by Qatar Relief Allies Committee. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Communications and IT, Dr Sabry Saidem, who declared his ministry plan in connecting Palestinian universities in a network to enhance the educational process. He added that he would encourage learning courses to be certified by Ministry of Higher Education.
In his speech. Mr Jamal Al Khodary welcomed the guests and thanked Qatar Committee for relentless efforts in supporting Palestinians especially in the educational sector.
He praised IUG students’ distinguished projects that should be treated in a national strategic plan to enhance development in the Palestinian society.
On his turn, Professor Mohammed Shubair, IUG President, said that IUG is approaching the future with concentration on information technology and E learning.
The project that was funded by Qatar Committee offers 4 jobs opportunity for 15th months and access to web Ct services for two years and serves 16000 students besides equipping two labs with PCs connected to net.
