Faculty of Commerce held the conference entitled
“The Investment and Finance in Palestine between Development and Challenges” under the auspices of Minister of Finance.
In the opening ceremony Minister of Finance Dr Salam Fayyad, talked about the needs of future development for Palestinian community. He concentrated on comprehensive administration and enlargement of welfare programs and establishing a treasury for supporting private sector.
On reading the speech of Dr Ahmed Ali, Chairman of Islamic bank in Jeddah, Mr Jarar Alqudwa, Representative of Islamic Bank, talked about projects funded by his bank.
Professor Mohammed Shubair, IUG President, welcomed IUG guests in the conference and said that holding the conference under the auspices of Minister of Finance will affect development in Palestine.
