About Scholarship:
Funded by the Palestinians Relief and Development Fund (Interpal) – UK and supervised by Research & Graduate Affairs at the Islamic University – Gaza, IUG would like to announce Interpal Scholarship for Post-Graduate Students in the Gaza Strip (Encouraging Practical Scientific Research) – First Call. This scholarship will partially/ fully cover expenses of practical scientific research to continue the postgraduate studies (Master Degree) at the Islamic University – Gaza. The aim of the scholarship is to enable the scholars to conduct their research to solve existing problems in Gaza strip and focus on the most needed practical scientific research areas in line of actual community research needs.
Research Fields:
The priority of practical scientific research fields will focus on the existing problems in the Gaza Strip such as: Environmental Pollution, Electricity & Alternative energy, Water & Agriculture, Health, Industry and Computer & Information Technology.
What can the scholarship support?
The maximum value of scholarship is 4000 USD (four thousand US Dollars) which can cover experiments and laboratories materials, equipment, data collection & analysis, books, programs and other research related expenses, etc.
How to Apply:

· The scholarship guidelines file contains all related information needed to be considered.
· The filled application form and research proposal form should be printed, signed and submitted (with all required attachment: both hard and soft copies CD) inside a closed envelope by hand to the secretary of Research & Graduate Affairs at IUG no later than 1 November 2014, at 14:00 PM.
