Terms of Reference (Training Consultants)
Introduction
The Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) has received a Grant from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education- Tertiary Education Project funded by the World Bank and the European Commission (EC) for the project entitled: “Assessing and Reengineering of Administrative Processes at IUG”. The Grant aims at supporting the strategic planning processes at the IUG by improving the quality of administrative processes and procedures at different levels.
IUG intends to apply part of this grant for the selection and employment of highly qualified training consultant.
Assignment Objective:
The training consultants will conduct any of the training courses listed below, which is dedicated to administrative staff at IUG, The training courses will be:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare the course syllabus to cover the course material
- Training the course according to the highest standards
- Develop schedule plan to cover the course material within the allowed time frame
- Use modern techniques to assist the trainees in understanding and applying the course content
- Prepare course material (using English language).
Deliverables:
- Course outline (course content)
- Completion of the required training course and submission of training material (soft and hard copies)
- Case study assignment
- Course evaluation report.
Essential Required Qualifications, knowledge and Competencies:
- Minimum of Master degree in management, engineering or any other related field.
- At least 3 years applied experience in subject related to selected course,
- At least 3 years minimum professional training and consultation experience
- Excellent English language capabilities.
Place of work: IUG and will be supervised by the project management team.
Duration of courses: As mentioned in above table.
Contract: Lump Sum.
