The Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) has received a grant from the Quality Improvement Fund (QIF) – Ministry of Education and Higher Education and funded by the World Bank and the EC to implement the project entitled: “Improving the quality of practical aspects in electrical and computer engineering program to meet the market needs” and intends to apply part of this grant for selection and employment of the following consultants
1. Project Coordinator (21 months)
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Following the systems and processes necessary for tracking all the project activities.
2. Assist in preparing draft contracts and reports relevant to the project activities.
3. Managing project internal and external communication including drafting letters, emails, reports, meeting minutes, etc.
4. Following up the implementation of the different components of the project as instructed by Project Manager
5. Coordinate for all project activities
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering , management or any other related field
• Two years of professional experience in project coordination.
• Excellent reporting and formal writing skills in both English and Arabic.
• Excellent technical, interpersonal and administrative skills.
• Excellent Command of English Language.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Extensive knowledge of local IT private sector companies.


2. Laboratory coordinator (21 months)
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical assistants to trainer and trainees.
2. Following the systems and processes necessary for tracking the execution of the training courses.
3. Tracking Laboratory equipping and equipment maintenance process.
4. Maintaining links with the project partner and scheduling the training courses.
5. Assist in preparing draft contracts, reports, and announcements relevant to training courses activities.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering , computer engineering or any other related field
• Two years of professional experience in coordination role.
• Extensive knowledge of local IT private sector companies.
• Excellent command of English Language.
• Excellent computer skills
• Ability to work in a team and to manage occasional heavy workload


3. Accountant (21 months- 30%)
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Establishing budgets and the work breakdown structure to meet contract terms.
2. Preparing financial reports
3. Invoicing, monitoring project cost variances.
4. Assisting project staff in resolving project accounting issues and questions
5. Teaming with project controls, to assure accurate setups, performing estimates at complete, and performing other financial reviews
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in accounting or any other related field
• Three years of experience in account and preparing financial reports
• Excellent command of English Language.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Ability to work in a team and to manage occasional heavy workload.
