Overview

IUG students are strongly active inside and outside classroom. Many services and facilities are offered by the Deanery of Student Affairs that is responsible for many of the outside the classroom/off campus aspects of students, including scholarship and student aid; student support services; student activities.

Thus, 28716 students get benefit from the Student Affairs Deanery in the academic year 2006-2007 representing 72% of the total students' number.

The Student Affairs pays attention to other activities such as athletics, football, tennis and other kinds of sports. In 2007, IUG won the first place at ten competitions in different sports.
