The Faculty of Sharia and Law was established in 1978 at the beginnings of the University foundation to contribute in serving society through its graduates.
Specialties and Degrees:
The Faculty of Sharia and Law awarded students Bachelor Degree after passing 140 credit hours in the Bachelor Degree, including:
- University requirements distributed into 26 credited hours ;
- Faculty requirements distributed into 60 credited hours;
- Special requirements distributed into 54 credited hours.
The Bachelor plan is distributed to a period of four years, each year divided into two semesters.
There are two specialties to the Faculty of Sharia and Law, including:
- Islamic Sharia;
- Sharia and Law.
Master Degree
Students will award the Master Degree after having 36 hours, including 6 hours to prepare the research paper in a period of two years at least.
The Master Degree is awarded in the following specialties:
• Islamic Jurisdiction
• Comparative Jurisprudence
• Foundations of Jurisprudence
