Establishment

The Alumni Affairs was established to take care and administer the affairs of the university alumni.

Goals

The goals of the department include:

§  Enhancing the relations between the university and alumni.

§  Enhancing the relations among alumni in various specializations

§  Organizing social activities to gather the alumni and exchange their experiences.

§  Coordinating training courses for alumni (almost free of charge).

§  Assist the alumni in job placement in coordination with the local institutions.

§  Producing annual books and statistics about no. of alumni.

§  Facilitating access of alumni for the facilities of the university.

Achievements

§  Preparing and coordination for the Alumni Graduation Festivals.

§  Preparing the Alumni Handbook.

§  Establishing a database for the university alumni.

§  Establishing the Alumni Department webpage through the IUG website.

§  Conducting an assessment study on the satisfaction of alumni about the performance of the university, and the obstacles that faced them.

§  Conducting several workshops and seminars about alumni.

§  Conducting several training courses for alumni.

§  Conducting several social activities for alumni.
