Since its foundation in 1978, Islamic University of Gaza has focused on the vision of graduating professionals & intellectuals whose knowledge, skills & values will link & serve the people of Gaza. This vision has guided us in the pursuit of our broadest goal: to serve IUG educational needs through teaching, research, and academic service.

Specific missions are central to our success as increasing capabilities in offering and managing academic programs professionally. This mission reflects our efforts to work to build a higher education system marked by quality, access, and accountability.

Hence, our responsibilities need big efforts and vigor from the staff so that we need to keep our work updated to cope with the new continuing educational systems as the area of work is wide.

That depends on the work of Faculty Deans and faculty members, to update various academic programs and access to other experiences to make use of modern academic plans and to build relationships with other local, regional and international colleges.
