The Faculty of Education was formed in 1980.

It seeks to prepare teachers educationally and professionally for teaching in primary and secondary schools in both government and private sectors.

It also aims to participate in developing the educational process through conducting research in education and psychology, holding training courses and seminars for in service teachers, preparing principals and supervisors.
