IUG Research and Projects Centre and IEEE have celebrated Arduino day in Tayba building. the celebration was attended by Prof. Fareed Al- Qaiq, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Jawdat Abu Taha , Head of Electric Engineering Department in addition to Dr. Ammar Abu Hadrous –Head of Centre of Research and Project and a number of faculty members and students.
For his part, Prof. Al- Qaiq praised the cooperation that led to the success of this celebration, and praised the effective role of IEEE club in IUG activities since it is one of the oldest engineering clubs in Palestine. he also talked about the electronic board, which is considered to have a great role in simplifying Gazans life in light of challenges they face.
on the other hand, Prof. Abu Taha said that Electric Engineering Department aims at developing curriculam and increase students activities to contribute in the society development.
it is worth to mention that Arduino is an electronic board programmed by a computer to make an easy use of electronics in many majors. it is mainly used in designing interactive electronic projects and projects aiming at creating different environmental sensors.
