IUG Hosts Delegation of Deaf Issues Institutions

Prof. Adel Awad Allah- IUG President- has hosted  a delegation of institutions specialized in deaf people issues. The delegation consisted of Mr. Raja'e Anajar - Head of Ramallah Institution for Deaf People, Mr. Yosuf Al- Madhoun from King Ali Institution for Deaf People in Jordan, Mr. Alaa Annahal, Head of Raneen Asamt in Rafah and Mr. Sa'adi Abu A'mrah, Head of Adameer Institution for Deaf People.

For his part, Prof. Awad Allah emphasized IUG care of disabled people, and talked about IUG efforts to launch diploma program for deaf people and getting a number of students in this program.

On the other hand, Dr. Sae'd Al- Ghorra, Dean of community Service and Continuing Education, talked about the diploma and the services it provides in addition to IUG plans targeting deaf students.

In the meeting, ways of joint cooperation in services related to deaf students and including them  in the society were discussed.

The delegation also visited IUG Community Development Institute and met the deaf students and listened to their ideas translated into sign language. They  also expressed their happiness of the programs and services provided to the deaf students and their achievements.

in the end of the meeting, Dr. Adel Awad Allah was given a certificate of appreciation by Ramallah Institutions for Deaf People.
