IUG is a Partner at Training Courses in Renewable Energy

Within Academic Partnership Projects, which are funded by Appear Program, IUG Faculty of Engineering has won to be a partner in the project of Developing Training Courses at Renewable Energy.

The project aims at transferring Knowledge, technology socio- economic competence  Gaza Strip needs, and putting strategies of studying engineering of renewable energy to build research and educational capacities in IUG. The project will continue fro, 1st February 2017 until 31st January 2020.

Many Practical training courses will be held in renewable energy engineering, and a lab will be developed for renewable energy researches at IUG. In addition, experiences will be exchanged between IUG, BOKU University and Partner institutions.

The project is expected to contribute to achieve  national strategic goals to use renewable energy sources as alternatives for traditional sources to solve energy problem in Palestine and in Gaza Strip in particular.  

It is worth to mention that IUG has won to be a coordinator of two projects funded by Appear Austrian Program, and its project of enhancing energy- saving buildings project was financed by Appear Project.
