Community Development Institute (CDI)
Community Development Institute is an academic institute grants a Graduate Professional Diploma in many significant programs and majors. The establishment was in 2005/2006 after obtaining the accreditation of Ministry of Higher Education on different programs.
The Institute of Community Development includes a range of academic and professional disciplines, in the areas of Finance & Banking, Civil Community Organization Management, Languages and Translation, as well as the Medical Specialties.
The institute is also working on designed other specialized programs:
A. Graduate Professional Diploma in Anaesthesia & Intensive Care for Physicians, in collaboration with Faculty of Medicine
B. Graduate Professional Diploma in Psychological Support & Counseling, in collaboration with Gaza Community Mental Health Program
Therefore, the institute has dedicated a well-qualified team of academics and trainers from the university and outside to teach these courses. In addition to that, there are a number of labs, classrooms and workshops halls have been equipped with modern devices to achieve our aims
Objectives
A. Prepare students with experiences and skills to be effective element in the process of building the Palestinian society
B. Improve the performance of all workers through providing them with the needed skills regarding academic and administrative fields
C. Provide human cadres with modern methods and plans to improve their vocational status
D. Improve the capacity of workers in the health sector through high quality specialist programs in medicine and community health
E. Provide Alumni with theoretical materials and practical skills to prepare them for local work market
F. Enhance the process of networking and outreach between academic institutions and other civil society organizations in Palestine
G. To promote sustained, robust professional and personal growth, productivity, accountability, integrity, and synergistic collaboration, and synergy of Institute, students, and staff.
